John B. Danese with His Boat
JB Danese loved fishing, and he loved being on the water in his boat. This boat appears to be a home built plywood boat, possibly a design by William Jackson, called "Ranger." In the post WWII 50's and 60's era, hundreds of different boat plans sets were offered. JB belonged to a yacht club near Warwick, Rhode Island, on Narragansetts Bay, possibly "Pettis Boat Yard," off Narragansett Parkway, near Shand avenue where JB and his wife Rita (Danese) Charest lived.
