John B. Danese was in the U.S. Army from 26 May 1942 to 23 Oct 1945. He served in the European theater as a truck driver. This would have helped shape his post-war career driving beer trucks around the Rhode Island area. Photo inscription on the back shows this was taken in July 1942, other inscription:
