Eric Wilkens' petition for naturalization. Shows Eric's last place of foreign residence as Montreal, Canada. Eric entered the US without documentation, leaving his German merchant marines ship in New York and staying in the US. During WWII the FBI identified him as an illegal alien and possible German agent. Eric was forced to go up to Canada for about two years, then re-enter the US.
